The Emperor of Gladness

For me, lumpy. Nuggets of interest and beauty and then areas with less so, and with somewhat confusing language (not just fancy, but there was a time when Hai was talking to Russia about cousins and I wasn't sure whose cousin who was talking about). Still, very pretty in many places.
