I waffled between a 3 and 4 star rating. I enjoy Ms. Stamper's voice, and I did like learning more about dictionary production and the difficulties of defining colours. I occasionally got lost in the stories about the various experts and managing editors, which made the book a little slow in parts for me, but it paid off in the end!
