Tony Stark, Odysseus, and the Myths Behind Marvel: Ancient Heroes in the Modern World – A Comparative Mythology of Greek Legends and Marvel Superheroes

Had some promise, and the first chapter wasn't bad. But it felt to me like one of those books where the best idea (only?) leads off and the rest of the book just gradually goes downhill. By chapter 3 we were being told how Black Widow is more of an Amazon than Wonder Woman. I found I dreaded returning to the book.
The prologue did contain a good quote, though.
