Eric (Discworld, #9; Rincewind, #4)

I had low hopes going in, having vaguely remembered not enjoying this that much the first time around. I think I just didn't get the references. Knowing more about Faust, the Trojan war, Dante, various people's traditional forms of worship and the like really helped.
It's true that there wasn't a lot here, narratively, but I laughed out loud a few times.
